I know when my meal is colorful and radiant my mood which also aids to regulate my digestion! Now let’s break it down Buddha bowl style👇🏼 🥬 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 [𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐞 & 𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐞] Vegetable powerhouses with the unique ability to modify human hormones, activate the body’s natural detoxification system and inhibit the growth of cancerous cells. 🌱𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 [𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨 𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨, 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥, 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥 + 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝] They contain polyphenols which prevent the buildup of harmful free radicals and contain a wider variety of them than their mature vegetable counterparts. 🥕𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 [𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬] Rich in antioxidants, beets get their deep color from the betalain pigment, which has potent anti-inflammatory properties. ⚡️𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 I listened to a meditation podcast last night and the topic was ‘you can be happy right now.’ He took me back to a time and place in the past where I felt broken, hurt & betrayed. In the place all I wished for was to not feel like that. We focus so much on what’s going wrong in the present moment we forget to be grateful for what we’ve already been through. So as frustrated as I am with my body right now I can be happy and grateful that it’s not in the state it was in that past moment. What moment or place is that for you? The one time you were sick and you couldn’t breath? So be happy that you can breath right now. The time that you felt betrayed? So be happy that you are loved right now. 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞.
